God Only Knows

I leave this weekend for another round of studio sessions in Nashville. We will be working on the vocals for an adaptation of Psalm 145 that I wrote. Continuing with my killer team, I’m over-the-top excited about the direction we’re headed! In future blogs, I will be introducing each member of the band; my vocal Director, the always fabulous Tom Lane, and my most excellent Producer and Arranger, Mr. Fletcher T. Wiley, himself!

I found this amazing vocal arranger / choir conductor by the name of Alessandro Girini. He lives in Italy, and is the force behind Vocal Blue Trains. I was hooked from the first time I watched their videos. Knowing a phenomenon when I see one, I immediately enlisted him to chart out the vocals for the upcoming recording of Psalm 145. There are two pieces of his work I’d like to feature today. One was produced during the Pandemic, so it’s more of a virtual performance, a beautiful rendition of the Brian Wilson classic, God Only Knows. The second song is a mesmerizing arrangement of Nirvana’s Smells Like Teen Spirit. 

Once again, we get to have church, the way it was meant to be💕
