Gimme Just One More Look

Some things you just know right away you will love. Other times, things have to grow on you, and become a pleasant surprise when you find that you have come to love them. 

There’s an old song that says, “Love is a Many Splendored Thing”. As I pondered on that title, I turned to the Oxford Dictionary to look up the word, splendored. Turns out it’s a British phrase, many-splendored. 

An adjective,  it means: Full of magnificent features or marvels.

What an exemplary way to describe Love! It becomes even more powerful when used in the context of my credo, God is Love. That’s what God is”.

Today’s feature song is performed by Linda Ronstadt. In her prime here, when she was absolutely the hottest female singer on the charts.I always loved this song, and this particular performance gets me rockin’ in my desk chair, I even accidentally knocked over my drink glass while jamming along. Just one look was all it took.
